Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was
founded on January 16, 1920 at
Howard University in Washington
D.C. The founding members, known
as the Five Pearls, were Arizona
Cleaver, Myrtle Tyler, Viola Tyler,
Fannie Pettie, and Pearl Neal. The
founding principles of Zeta Phi Beta
were as followed: Service,
Scholarship, and Sisterhood.
